Where do they learn this?

And why do they have to practice it while I'm trying out my new camera?

Candles...

A while ago we had a discussion over dinner about "the olden days".

We talked about having no electricity and phones and so on.

In the end we decided to have dinner without lights -

just candles!

It was nice!

The kids were intrigued to hear all about some Daddy family history too.

I had to do some serious colour editing on these two

but I thought I'd share the results.

Things they learnt from Mummy...

Any time is a good time to take photos...

even with an old camera that has no film

but makes a great sound when you wind the film!

Lego...

One of those toys that grows sometimes...

and is great for playing with visitors...

What is wrong with this picture?

Taken while eating dinner the other night...

Photo editing...

I was having a chat the other day about photo editing,

and reminded myself that I hadn't yet played with Picnik.

I came across Picnik on a few blogs and comments lately.

So I checked it out and made this cute shot in about 10 minutes of playing.

I did some cropping, played with the colour a little,

made it look like a Polaroid, added the flower border,and finally the title.

I saved it to my computer, but it was interesting trying to upload it to the blog...

it wanted to turn it sideways for some reason - not sure why!

So I went back to my usual free photo software, Picasa,

and made it into a collage (like I usually do for blog photos ;)

Looks like I'll have to play with Picnik some more yet!

Dancing in the Shower...

I'm not sure why Mr Happy needed to have 

a dance in the shower after his bath...
