Tribute...

My dear husband finally parted with his beloved car yesterday at the wreckers yard. It was a sad moment for him. He was rather attached to "the Gwokkie". Silly...

Sometimes after he's been outside with Daddy, Mr Happy has his feet washed in the bath tub. You know, stand in the tub, run the water over your feet for a second, then step out and dry off.

Well, today he decided to do it for himself...

Which was all fine...

until he decided to sit on the floor of the tub to rub his feet clean!

Oops, wet bottom!

What do you do...

...when you have a sniffle at school but you don't have a tissue? Look in your bag? Ask the teacher? Look around the classroom for the box? No, none of these. Apparently you use the conveniently wide collars on your uniform! (Don't worry, photo taken after washing!)

Little Miss crafts...

This lead light butterfly was part of Little Miss' birthday presents so it made a great task for Sunday afternoon. It came up beautifully!

Hmmm...

It seems like a long time since I've written anything but it isn't really. Anyway here's the run down on the week so far:

Monday - Little Miss off to school while Mr Happy and I had a quiet home day... rainy I believe.

Tuesday - Our friend, Mr N, came to play while Daddy took Little Miss to school. Mr Happy and I went to Playgroup. After school we went to our first swimming lesson for both of them.

Wednesday - School and Kindy for kids while Mummy went to craft at the church. After that shopping, library, and mail collection before school pick up.

Thursday - Kids off to School and Kindy while Mummy did groceries, washing, and cleaning, followed by baking. Sounds domestic, doesn't it? Later on I re-made all the beds that I washed and visited Mrs R to check out quilt books before school pick up.

Right now - afternoon tea in front of the TV with rain again outside.
